: More Changes in Nanoland
Hello, everybody. Well, it appears that we're temporarily back to being a three-piece, as Gord has decided that he is unable to commit an appropriate amount of time to the band. We're not happy about his decicion, but we respect it. Gord will still be working with us in a non-musical capacity, but he will no longer be drumming. His brief stint with us was fun and we wish him well. And that means we're once again on the lookout for a drummer. So if you drum or know somebody who does, please contact us either through Facebook or by emailing rockgods@nanochrist.com Thanks. -Mike 23rd June 2008

: Rehearsal Space
So, speaking of band crap (which is what this journal is for, after all), we're going to be in need of new digs starting May 1st. So if anyone has a line on cheap but secure monthly rehearsal space in the Toronto area, this would be the time to let us know about it. Thanks in advance. 1st April 2008
: The Top 10 Reasons We're Better Than Battlestar Galactica...
OK, I'll admit it: There aren't 10 reasons. I mean, really... That show is made with fine Corinthian leather and then slow-roasted over applewood. But here's the thing: If you tape it, you can watch it later without commercials. OR... watch it somewhere that allows you to get to Savage Garden in under an hour, then when the ending credits roll, boot it to the show. See? You really *CAN* have it all! 26th March 2008
: Show Cancellation
Due to circumstances beyond our control, our show in Niagara Falls this Friday has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience. You can still catch us at Savage Garden in Toronto on April 4th. 17th March 2008

: Looking for a session drummer
Hey, everybody. The good news is we've been offered a slot on this year's Kitchener-Waterloo Metalfest, May 9th and 10th. The bad news is that Gord will be away in Europe at that time. So... Is there a temporary drummer in the house? Is anyone interested in learning 6 or 7 of our songs to help out for one gig? We'd pay all of your costs, of course, and a bit more. If you drum, or know someone who does, please email rockgods AT nanochrist DOT com. Thanks. |
